Super Hero Night at Northern Illinois Food Bank
Dust off your favorite super hero costume and join us for Super Hero Night, the latest in a series of volunteer theme nights at Northern Illinois Food Bank.
Volunteers are an essential part of the daily operation at Northern Illinois Food Bank, working morning, afternoon and evening shifts to help feed 60,000 hungry neighbors every week across 13 counties. The food bank’s series of monthly volunteer theme nights offers yet another way for members of the community to get involved.
Registration is required for all volunteer shifts, including volunteer theme nights. To register, log onto www.SolveHungerToday.org/Volunteer.
Individuals, organizations, companies and families with children age 8 and older are welcome to volunteer at any of our three Centers. Typical volunteer shifts involve packing, sorting and inspecting donated food for distribution.
