Metal Embossing Workshop

The
Community School of the Arts (CSA) at Wheaton College offers a visual arts workshop
teaching the art of metal embossing. Create your own beautiful, decorative
metal pieces through this ancient craft, using various embossing tools on thin
metal sheets, to create low relief designs.

CSA Visual Arts faculty member Jennifer Nagle will lead the workshop. On staff
since 2001, Nagle serves as the coordinator of CSA's Visual Arts program. She
also owns and operates a custom painting business specializing in murals, faux
finishes and decorative painting.

The afternoon class, designed for sixth graders to adults, takes place in Suite
109 at the CSA Visual Art Studio. The cost is $45 and pre-registration is
required. For more information, visit http://www.wheaton.edu/csa, or
call 630.752.5567.
