Manage Your Cash Flow Increase Control Over Your Business

The lag between the time you have to pay your suppliers and employees and the time you collect from your customers is critical in any business.

 

Come to this event and learn the importance of managing your company's cash flow and gain the strategies necessary to improve it. Learn to identify when problems are likely to happen and how to address them in advance. You will be shown good process that are the prerequisites to managing cash flow. You will receive an example of a cash flow worksheet and learn how to use Quick Books to provide source content. In addition there will be a demonstration on how to use a cash flow spreadsheet. As always, this session will be interactive and there will be a question and answer period.

Our speaker is Terry Bishop of Sikich, LLP -  a leading accounting, advisory, technology and managed services firm located in Naperville, IL.

Terry serves closely-held small businesses with annual sales up to $15 million. Depending on the client's outsourcing needs, Terry is able to fulfill a variety of roles ranging from staff accountant to supervisor to controller. In addition to setting up accounting systems, Terry's expertise includes general ledger maintenance, payroll, tax preparation, and preparation of financial statements for internal management use or use by third parties. Terry is extremely well versed in QuickBooks accounting platforms where he also facilitates training seminars for individuals and groups with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). He also teaches QuickBooks and Principles of Financial Accounting at College of DuPage.
