Gallery 200 in
West Chicago presents First Star Art as July’s “Featured Artist of the
Month.” An opening reception complete
with live music by Full Grown Men, door prizes and refreshments will be held on
Friday, July 11 from 6-9.
The two First
Star Artists, known as jammer and jrr prefer to let their “art works get the
attention.” They say that “Our wish is
to immerse ourselves in art, to share some beauty, to inspire and be inspired.
Our wish is coming true.” The name, First Star Art, was inspired by an early
painting of the first star at dusk and the children’s poem, “Star light, star
bright, first star…” “First Star Art”
remains on display at Gallery 200 for the entire month of July.
