"Exploring Christian Freedom: Challenges for Christian Citizens"

Wheaton College's Center for Applied Christian Ethics (CACE) offers a Christian Moral Formation Lecture. Dr. Charles Mathewes, will deliver the lecture titled "Exploring Christian Freedom: Challenges for Christian Citizens."

Mathewes is professor of religious studies at the University of Virginia. His teaching and research interests include Christian thought, comparative religious ethics and religion, culture and politics. He is the author of "Understanding Religious Ethics" (Wiley-Blackwell, 2010), "The Republic of Grace: Augustinian Thoughts for Dark Times" (Eerdmans, 2010), A "Theology of Public Life During the World" (Cambridge University Press, 2008) and "Evil and the Augustinian Tradition" (Cambridge University Press, 2007).
