Whole Foods Market Wheaton Launches Personal Shopping Service

Whole Foods Market® Wheaton is pleased to announce the start of their personal shopping services beginning February 1, 2013. The much anticipated store program located at 151 Rice Lake Square, will provide a convenient and efficient way for customers to get their grocery shopping done. The Wheaton Whole Foods Market is the first in the city to offer a personal shopping service. Carl Gartner, Whole Foods Market Store Team Leader, said the convenience has been needed and Wheaton is uniquely suited for this service. "We are excited to offer our customers this new option, especially as the weather gets colder. Having our team of Personal Shoppers at the ready to shop for you, with the added convenience of curbside pick-up service, we have found another way to offer excellent customer service."

Customers who want to sign up for the program can email mw.wtn.personalshopper@wholefoods.com or visit the website at http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/wheaton. They can pick up orders curbside Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. A 10 percent surcharge will be added on each order, and there is no minimum on orders. The personal shopping service does not include alcoholic beverages and the store will be accepting orders via email only.

“We have people with special diet needs driving all the way from Elburn to get brands that we have available here at Whole Foods Market,” comments Gartner. “This convenience has clearly been needed for a while, we offer the widest selection of special diet products, so having our knowledgeable staff helping pick out products will be extremely helpful.”
