Community Corner

Wheaton United Girls Lacrosse

On January 8th, 2013 the Wheaton United Girls Lacrosse club will be conducting an informational meeting for all high school aged girls interested in playing competitive lacrosse. The meeting will take place at the Wheaton Park District Community Center beginning at 7:00PM.

Girls’ lacrosse is among the fastest growing sports in the state of Illinois and the goal of the club is to focus on skill development and to compete successfully at both the Junior Varsity and Varsity levels. All female students who attend Wheaton Warrenville South or Wheaton North High Schools during the 2012-2013 school year are eligible to play for the United Girls Lacrosse Club. The club was the DuPage Valley - Upstate 8 Conference Champions in 2012. Several players were named as All Conference athletes.
