Wheaton College Artist Series Presents Harlem String Quartet

The Wheaton College Artist Series presents the Harlem String Quartet in concert.

After the quartet made its debut at Carnegie Hall in 2006, the group has performed on stages around the world including in front of President Obama at the White House. The Cincinnati Enquirer described the group saying, "The Harlem Quartet is bringing a new attitude to classical music, one that is fresh, bracing, and intelligent."

The quartet will play classical compositions such as Mozart's "String Quartet No. 15" and Schubert's "String Quartet No. 14" as well as jazz compositions like "Chick" Corea's "The Adventures of Hippocrates" and Strayhorn's "Take the A Train."

Ticket prices range from $37–$50 for general audience with discounts for students and seniors over 60. For more information, or to order tickets, call the Ticket and Information Office. Online orders may be placed through March 20.
