Lions Club 'Reindeer Run'
The Wheaton Lions Club and the Wheaton Park District will co-host the 2012 Wheaton Lions Club Reindeer Run in downtown Wheaton Saturday, Dec. 1.
Registration for the 5K race closes Tuesday, Nov. 27. Early registration is $25 and registration at packet pick-up and on race day is $35.
Proceeds from the race will go to help people with sight and hearing problems.

Description
The Lions Club Reindeer Run is a CARA Emerging Race, hosted by the Lions Club in conjunction with the Wheaton Park District.

Parking Suggestions
On-street in downtown Wheaton. Parking garage in downtown Wheaton (Hale & Wesley).
Packet Pick Up
Prerace packet pick up will be held Wed., Nov. 28, 2012 from 2-8pm at the Community Center, 1777 S Blanchard, Wheaton, IL 60189. Race day packet pick up will be availble from 7:15-8am. Location TBA.
T - Shirts
T-shirts are available for the first 500 registrants. T-shirt sizes are on a first come, first serve basis.
Reindeer Antlers
Reindeer antlers are available at time of early registration for a $5 fee. Stop by the face painting table on the day of the race to receive a Rudolph nose!
Awards
Awards will be given to: overall male and female finisher and top 3 finishers in each age division. Age divisions are as follows: 10 & under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 & over.
Safety
The runners' safety is of utmost importance. Therefore, bicycles, in-line skates, other wheeled vehicles (except wheelchairs) and dogs are not allowed. Strollers are also prohibited.
Volunteers
Volunteers are essential to the success of the race. All volunteers receive a long sleeve t-shirt and continental breakfast. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the Race Director (see below for contact information).
