Holiday Light Recycling Program

The Wheaton Park District will be collecting holiday lights at the Community Center, DuPage County History Museum and the Leisure Center from November 20, 2012 through February 28, 2013. We accept incandescent or LED holiday lights and extension cords. The donated holiday lights may be in any condition, as the valuable wiring inside will be processed for scrap materials. The proceeds from processing the materials will be donated to the Leisureship Fund. The Fund provides financial assistance to qualified Wheaton Residents for park district programs and sports, fitness center passes and pool passes. Please stop by the Community Center to drop off your holiday lights and help support the Leisureship Fund. (SR)
