History of Christianity Lecture: "Justification by Works in Reformation Theology"

Dr. Tony Lane will deliver a lecture titled "Justification by Works in Reformation Theology" at Wheaton College.


Lane is a professor of historical theology at the London School of Theology. His areas of focus include justification; sacraments; Catholic-Protestant dialogue; scripture and tradition; and historical theology. The most recent of his many books and scholarly writings on John Calvin is A Reader's Guide to Calvin's Institutes (Baker Academic, 2009).

This lecture, sponsored by the Graduate Biblical and Theological Studies at Wheaton College, is free and open to the public. It takes place in room 339 of Blanchard Hall.
