Make sure you arrive early to take in all the activities including the LEGO Skyscaper Build. Children will be constructing LEGO skyscrapers to see if they can withstand a simulated earthquake! At the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois exhibit children will be able to design and test their own bridge design using a computer program. Parents will learn how buildings/bridges stand up or sometimes fall down. You will see the structural mechanism that brought down the World Trade Center !
