Children's Book Illustration Workshop

The Community School of the Arts (CSA) at Wheaton College offers a visual arts workshop teaching Children's Book Illustration. Saturday's workshop allows participants to learn to tell a story through the art of illustration by selecting key components of a story to create a drawing that gives the viewer a snapshot of a character and his or her life. Guest artist Jim Martin, a local creative director who designs and manages the creation of happy meal toys for McDonalds, will lead the workshop.

The afternoon class is designed for sixth graders to adults. Pre-registration is required. For more information about this event and other upcoming visual arts workshops, call or visit their website.
