Celebrate the Season Holiday Festival

Families and children of all ages are invited to Cantigny Park for the “Celebrate the Season” holiday festival from 4 – 7pm. The park will be decorated for the holidays, and an assortment of activities and offerings are planned to kick off the season in style.

Attractions will include a Tree Lighting ceremony, ice carving demonstrations, carolers, live reindeer display, children’s craft and facepainting($1/person), sleigh rides ($1/person), and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. This event is free with regular parking admission.

The McCormick Museum will host a special open house from 5 to 8 pm featuring seven Christmas trees decorated by local non-profit groups. Vistiors are encouraged to support these charities and vote for their favorite tree. Each charity will receive a donation from the McCormick Foundation.

In addition, kids (and parents) can meet Mrs. Claus who will be telling stories in Freedom Hall in front of a stunning tree decorated by Phillip's Flowers and Gifts. Follow the luminary lined path from the Visitors Center to the McCormick Museum.
