DuPage County Hosts Veterans Day Ceremony Nov. 10

DuPage County will host a
ceremony in observance of Veterans Day at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10, at the
DuPage County Convalescent Center, 400 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton.



Dirk Enger, director of Veterans Memorial, Inc. and a former DuPage County
Board member (District 6), will be the featured speaker for the ceremony. Enger
served in the United States Marine Corps.



The ceremony will feature a weapons salute from Marine Corps League Detachment
399 and a musical performance of “Taps” played by Grace Adduci of Bugles Across
America.



Additionally, the DuPage County JTK Administration Building will be closed in
observance of Veterans Day on Monday, Nov. 11. County departments and services
will reopen on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
