Auditions: Disney's Alice In Wonderland, JR

(ST CHARLES) Vero Voce School of Performing Arts in St Charles will be auditioning young actors by appointment on August 3, 2014 for Disney’s Alice In Wonderland, JR. Directed by David Rodriguez (Vero Voce Theater Artistic Director) with Vocal Direction by Dawn Harkins (owner Vero Voce) and produced by Dennis Brown, performances will run Saturdays at 1:00pm and 4:30pm and Sundays at 3:00pm, September 20-28, 2014.

Vero Voce was established in 2001 specializing in private voice, piano lessons and musical theatre coaching. It expanded into a 7,000 square foot facility with multiple studios, classrooms, and a theatre in St Charles. Vero Voce is known for its unique theater teaching style, with elements of improvisation, actor input, characterization, scene study, tech awareness and confidence building.

Lewis Carroll's famous inquisitive heroine comes to life in this delightful adaptation of the classic Disney film. Join Alice as she chases the White Rabbit, races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game!

Auditions will be held at Vero Voce, 951 State Ave., Ste F, St Charles, Illinois by appointment only on Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. To make an audition appointment, please fill out the audition registration form online at http://www.verovoce.com/audition-form or call 630-584-0139.

Actors need to prepare 2 contrasting sixteen bar musical selections in the Broadway style and a one minute monologue. Bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. These are tuition based productions.
