Astronomy Day at Wheaton College

In celebration of Astronomy Day, the Wheaton College Physics Department invites the public to get a close up look at the sky, through state-of-the-art equipment.

Astronomy Day is an international effort to increase public awareness about astronomy and the wonders of the universe.

The College's 24-inch PlaneWave Instruments CDK24 telescope is among several telescopes in the campus observatory pointed at the moon, the famous Andromeda Galaxy, colorful binary stars and beautiful star clusters.
