Amateur Radio 47th Annual Mid-Winter HAMFEST 2014
It's that time again when several thousand "Ham" radio operators will gather to shop and swap. Vendors will be selling new products ranging from short wave radios, amplifiers, computers and antennas to small parts. Also, many of the approximately 200 tables will offer used equipment and parts for antique radios up to the very latest high tech systems. Demonstrations will be provided. Plenty of expertise will be available to answer any questions you may have concerning any facet of amateur "Ham" radio.
The WCRA Communications Support Unit will show the latest "state-of-the-art" technology in Amateur Radio Emergency portable communications equipment.
Three Technical Forums will be offered starting at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 A.M.

Remember - you do not have to be an electrical engineer to join this hobby. Anyone can get a license. All it takes is an interest and enthusiasm to get on the air to start making contacts with other hams, not only in the United States, but all over the world.
