Your Guide to Halloween Happenings in Wheaton

Halloween is Oct. 31, but there are plenty of other events in weeks before for Wheaton families.

Halloween is right around the corner on Wednesday, Oct. 31. Here are some Halloween events happening in Wheaton this month:

Friday, Oct. 19:

:5 p.m., Wheaton Park District Community Center, 1777 S. Blanchard St.

Wear a costume and bring friends for activities, including a bounce house, games, costume pageant and trick-or-treating.

Sunday, Oct. 21:

Pumpkin Carving and Decorating: 12 p.m., Whole Foods, 151 Rice Lake Square

Friday: Oct. 26:

Annual Hallowheaton Event: 4 p.m. Whole Foods, 151 Rice Lake Square

Throughout the store from 4pm to 7pm you can find:

  • Vendors with samples for snacking
  • Trick-or-treating for the kids in each department
  • A live DJ spinning Halloween tunes for kids at our kids disco
  • Aunt Lucy leading crafts in the cafe
  • Made to order candy apples available for purchase
  • Face painting

Wheaton's Art Spot presents musical thriller "Sweeney Todd."

Saturday, Oct. 27:

Downtown Trick-or-Treat: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at participating downtown Wheaton businesses

Trunk or Treat: 3 p.m., Wheaton Wesleyan Church, 1300 S. President St.

Kids can "trunk-or-treat" in the parking lot, make crafts and have some tasty fall treats.
