DuPage County Judge Elizabeth Sexton rules Wheaton business owner and former City Council candidate Derek Bromstead 'not guilty' of domestic batter in a bench trial Monday. The case that stemmed from a February incident at his home in Wheaton. 

A man who was shot last Saturday in unincorporated Wheaton remains at  and is in good condition, a hospital spokeswoman said Friday.  The DuPage County Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting that occurred Saturday, Sept. 24, after an off-duty police officer shot an intruder at his home, according to a press release issued Monday by the sheriff's office.

District 200 officials approved a 60-day extension for Bradford Equities, LLC to submit its application for Plan Approval with the city for the old Hubble school property.

Saake announced his candidacy Wednesday. He addresses Illinois pension reform in his released statement.

OneWheaton, an organization of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) alumni of , will host its first Homecoming event with a concert in Glen Ellyn Friday, Oct. 7
