Weather Alert: Snow to Fall at 1 Inch per Hour
Heavy snowfall, about an inch per hour, coming this afternoon.
A winter storm warning remains in effect until midnight tonight, according to the National Weather Service, with heavy snowfall within the next few hours.
Snowfall could total four to seven inches at a rate of one inch per hour, causing reduced visibility.
Temperatures in the teens will make salt less effective and the heavy snowfall rate will slow road crews, according to NWS.
