Thefts to Wheaton Businesses: Dry Cleaners, Banana Republic

The Banana Republic store in Wheaton was robbed of 59 items Feb. 9. Danada Dry Cleaners was robbed of $200 to $500 cash.

The following thefts were reported to Wheaton businesses:

  • Fifty-nine items were stolen from the Banana Republic store in Wheaton's Town Square Wednesday, Feb. 9. 
  • Approximately $200 to $500 cash was stolen from the register of Danada Dry Cleaners, 184 Danada Square West, Wheaton, between Sunday, Feb. 6 and Monday morning of Feb. 7. According to the police report, an employee noticed damage to the back door of the store when she went to take out the garbage Monday morning. She opened both cash registers and found that the money was missing. The keys to open the registers were in the drawer, and the employee wasn't sure how much cash was in them Sunday.
