Police Blotter: DUI, Drug and License Arrests

The following items were taken from the Wheaton police blotter.

Police arrested a Chicago man for driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at the intersection of County Farm and Roosevelt roads Sunday, Jun. 26. Isaias Sanchez, 26, was arrested around 3 a.m. Sunday, booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested a Carol Stream woman for driving on a suspended license Saturday, Jun. 25. Shavonna Satterfield, 29, was arrested near the intersection of Main Street and Geneva Road  around noon. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that afternoon.

Police arrested a Georgia man on a warrant from another jurisdiction in the 900 block of Wheaton Avenue around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jun. 25. Jamal Abdul Hardeman, 28, was booked at the DuPage County Jail and released that afternoon.

Police arrested Roderick Fowler of Elk Grove Village for driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, driving on a suspended license and speeding Tuesday, May 17. Fowler, 46, was stopped near the intersection of Naperville and Roosevelt roads around 1 a.m. Tuesday.

Police arrested a 26-year-old Wheaton man for cannabis possession Sunday, Jun. 26. He was stopped around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Loop and Naperville roads and was released on the scene.

Police arrested Mary Hagaman of West Chicago for driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, hit and run, attempt to flee an officer, operating an uninsured vehicle, no seat belt and improper lane usage Monday, Jun. 27. According to the police report, the incident occurred near the intersection of Butterfield Road and Lakeview. Hagaman, 18, was arrested at the intersection of 31st Street and York Road in Oak Brook. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and taken to DuPage County Sheriff’s Office around 7:30 a.m.
