Verterra ran their DOT Campaign, a requirement for all groups wishing to be affiliated with ACE, and spoke to science classes at WWS, asking students how they'd do one thing to help save the environment. Students wrote what they'd do on a 'dot,' and submitted a total of 893 dots to Verterra—putting them in the top three groups nationwide.

With 893 dots, Barista said Verterra had no idea what to do with all of that recycled paper (they couldn't throw it away in good conscience, of course), so they made a mural that was displayed in the WWS commons area.

In addition to their comedic YouTube video explaining how to make better choices for the environment, Verterra's mural put them into the final four of the ACE competition. To vote, Facebook users can 'like' their mural photo on the ACE Facebook page from Apr. 4-8. Whoever has the most likes at 4 p.m. Friday, Apr. 8, wins.

"This is our fifth—sixth month as a club—it's amazing—what we've done so far," Barista said.
