This week's Patch Picks: Cinco de Mayo celebration ideas

Arrowhead's Cinco de Mayo celebration will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, offering $5 all-you-can-eat-tacos and $5 margaritas.

This place is known for its margarita pitchers and authentic Mexican food. (Try the Queso dip appetizer!)

It's a national chain based out of Texas and has private dining rooms and patio seating—all perfect for a party on May 5.

Fixated in downtown Glen Ellyn for more than 30 years, Santa Fe is known for—yep, you guessed it—it's margaritas.

Not feeling the Mexican food? Go to Sushi Mono and order the margarita cocktail for $5. Add the fiesta roll for a total of $20.

6. Wok'n Fire — Wheaton

Wok'n Fire will feature its Loco happy hour specials from 4 to 7 p.m. on Cinco de Mayo, including half price appetizers and traditional sushi rolls in the lounge area. Daily drink specials also include $4 house wines, mango martinis, apple martinis and $3 Sapporo draft beers.

Egg Harbor Café will feature a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta lunch and drink special: Chef Jose’s secret family recipe guacamole and chips. Then dig into our homemade Chili Verde enchilada plate served with a side of loaded refried beans and crunchy tortillas!
