We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. I would like to nominate Jeff Armstrong of Wheaton Barbell & Fitness as favorite personal trainer in Wheaton/Glen Ellyn. The improvements that I've seen since working out with Jeff at Wheaton Barbell are significant. As a Marine, I had been taught to either hike with a heavy pack for several miles, or run endlessly. I tried to incorporate both workouts, but quickly moved away from running when I realized how much more beneficial Jeff's workouts were regarding the way I look and feel. I was in better shape working out with Jeff after the first three months than I was even at peak performance on active duty in the Marine Corps. Jeff kept me motivated and was incredibly attentive not only to my posture and form, but to the amount of weight I used for the countless exercises that we do. I couldn't even remember the amount of weight I used myself, but he did. When you have a coach that really cares, you want to do well for them. I had already seen so many considerable changes to my body within a matter of a few weeks. I believe that says it all about the quality of training that Jeff Armstrong brings to the table. There simply is no better personal trainer than Jeff.

Ken George at the Wheaton Park District is the best! He's patient and motivating. He also comes with a lot of experience.
