Nominate the Best Parks in Wheaton

Let us know your favorite parks in Wheaton so we can put it to a vote to find out which is the 2012 Readers' Choice winner.

Where is the best park in Wheaton?

Patch is ramping up its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows about parks in the area to nominate the best spots in Wheaton Patch.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

Thanks in advance for your participation.

PS: Sign up for the Wheaton Patch newsletter to find out when voting starts so you can support your favorite institution in the Readers' Choice contest.

Memorial Park because it is near downtown and it has live entertainment in the bandshell, including the Wheaton Municipal Band on Thursday nights throughout the summer.

Northside Park is great for families. There is ample picnic space, areas to play ball, playground equipment, a lake and a huge hill to run up and down.
