Instead of his usual sleigh, Santa Claus might have to be content with a wheeled-vehicle in the Chicago area with no hint of snow in sight for Christmas Eve.
According to the National Weather Service, Christmas Eve promises to be a sunny day with highs near 40 with a slight breeze. During Santa’s delivery the temperatures will fall into the 20s, but the skies will remain clear of precipitation.
A similar forecast is called for Christmas day.
