Health Department Closes Three Locations Due to Power Outage

The DuPage County Health Department closes three of its locations Tuesday.

Three DuPage County Health Department buildings will be closed Tuesday, Jul. 12 due to power outages. The buildings that are closed include the health department offices in Lombard and Addison, and the Transitional Services Center in Wheaton.

Other Health Department facilities will be operating with normal business hours on Tuesday.

The Health Department is also requesting that clients in Women, Infants and Children (WIC) who are scheduled at the Addison office should report to the Central Office in Wheaton.

WIC clients with appointments at the Lombard office should report to the Westmont office.

Clients should report at the same times as their original appointments.

The immunization clinic scheduled in the Lombard office tomorrow will reschedule clients in the same location next week.

The Health Department is attempting to contact all clients with scheduled appointments. Persons with questions about their appointments should call (630) 682- 7400.

All clients who want to drop off water samples for testing should bring those samples to the Central Office in Wheaton.
