Christmas Tree Recycling Starts Next Week

Free Christmas tree recycling in Wheaton starts Jan. 7.

Christmas trees will be collected and recycled on your regular collection day in Wheaton during the first two full weeks of January (Jan. 7-18, 2013) for no charge—and with no sticker required. During this free two-week collection period, trees must be placed at the curb free of all decorations. Do not place trees in plastic bags.

After the two-week collection period, Christmas trees will require one yard waste sticker affixed to it to be collected.
