Cantigny Contest Invites High School, College Students to Share Eco-Creativity

Cantigny partners with SCARCE for Recycled Art Contest at the third annual Green Fair Sept. 24.

Cantigny Park, in partnership with SCARCE, will present the third annual Cantigny Green Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24.

Among the many fun and educational components of the fair will be a Recycled Art Contest open to high school and college students.  Entrants must use recycled materials or items that can be recycled, such as metal, glass, plastic and paper. Cash prizes are $150, $75 and $50, along with Honorable Mention, recognizing Originality, Creativity and Best Use of Recycled Content. All students will receive a Certificate of Recognition.

Entries must be delivered to Cantigny Park by Sept. 19. Entry forms and contest guidelines are available online at www.cantigny.org or call 630.260.8266.

All Cantigny Green Fair attractions are free. Parking is $5 per vehicle or $2 before 10 am.
