Take a step back in time and admire the beauty and craftsmanship of vintage boats. The Blackhawk Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society of America will present a fleet of well-preserved vessels displayed in their natural habitat—on the water.

Ever dreamed of being a super hero—flying through the air or speeding underwater? Flyboard can make that dream a reality! It combines the thrills of jet skiing, wakeboarding and acrobatic diving so you can fly like a bird and swim like a dolphin. You have to see it to believe it—and you can at the show. Demos will be held daily.

Chicago Banana Boat Rides have put together a special lake tour for the show as well, departing from the 31st Street Harbor, zooming around the Adler Planetarium and back. It's a wet and wild ride that's fun for the whole family. It's just $10 per person‚ but space is limited. You can reserve your spot at the Chicago Water Sports Rental Booth, #141

New to boating? The show is just the place to get your feet wet. The Discover Boating Puts You At The Helm program offers a variety of hands-on, on-the-water clinics and seminars geared to both beginning and experienced boaters. Training is available for power boating and sailing—but classes are small and fill up fast, so advanced registration is highly recommended. Visit ChicagoInWaterBoatShow.com for details and registration information.

If you're a do-it-yourselfer of boat owner interested in learning how to maintain, repair or upgrade your boat, you'll want to catch the free seminars and workshops at Fred's Shed Interactive Learning Center. Daily sessions cover a wide variety of topics and include demos and question/answer sessions.

Sunday is Father's Day—the first 200 Dads who come to the show on Sunday (with at least one of their children in tow) will receive a special gift bag, compliments of the show, Discover Boating and Skipper Buds.
