Jubilee Furniture, DuPage County’s largest resale furniture showroom, is moving to 730 East North Ave. in Carol Stream, two blocks east of its current location, and expanding its hours. The new store will open its doors on Friday, April 4, and the grand opening celebration will take place on Friday, April 11. The new expanded hours are Thursdays and Fridays, 1 to 8 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., beginning Thursday, April 10.

The store will feature a 20,000 square-foot showroom displaying quality pre-owned furniture including sofas, tables, headboards, mattresses, antiques and period furniture.

Prior to the move, Jubilee will offer deep discounts and a liquidation sale to clear its current inventory. The liquidation sale, featuring 20 percent off merchandise, will be held March 14 and 15, with discounts increasing to 50 percent off on March 21 and 22 and 80 percent off on March 28 and 29.

Jubilee Furniture is seeking furniture donations to fill the new store. Donations are tax-deductible and 100 percent of all donations support the local community services sponsored by Outreach Community Ministries.
