Wheaton City Council Approves $25,000 Economic Development Plan

The plan will address the city's economy, culture and social aspects.

Members of the Wheaton City Council unanimously approved a $25,000 contract with a Deerfield-based firm to prepare an economic development plan, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Gruen Gruen + Associate will examine historic patterns of development, tour the city's neighborhoods, talk to real estate brokers and builders and interview local stakeholders, the Tribune reports.
