Wheaton Chiropractor is Go-To for Hollywood Stars

Local chiropractor Dr. George Gauthier is a favorite among celebrities, and takes the occasional break from his Wheaton practice to work movie sets and the Oscars.

When not tending to the aches and pains of ordinary people at his Wheaton office, chiropractor Dr. George Gauthier has a remarkable and glamorous side job as one of Hollywood’s favorite doctors for movie sets and award shows, the Suburban Life reports.

According to the paper, since first falling into showbiz-chiropractics in 1999 through a chance connection with a Chicago producer, “Dr. George” has worked on the set of the Hobbit movies and at and the Academy Awards, and may possibly be involved in the new Star Wars films as well.

“Some things really just happen all at the right time… They told me ‘the celebrities want to have you around, do you want to be the doctor for the Emmys?’” Gauthier told the paper, adding that he tries to balance working for Hollywood and for Wheaton.

“I usually just pick the best of, or something I haven’t been to before… but it’s always hard to turn down the Academy Awards.”

Gauthier’s local office is at 57 Danada Square East in Wheaton. More information is available on his website, which also has a release showcasing his recent work for boy-band Midnight Red during a Chicago tour stop.
