Local resident Lesley Vesevick has relocated her business Papier Girl from Naperville to downtown Glen Ellyn. The business is expected to open Wednesday, if all goes well with the finishing touches, Vesevick said.

The shop is located at 413 N. Main St. and will carry a variety of invitations for children and adults that will fit the need for any occasion, Vesevick said. The stationery shop will also sell greeting cards, wrapping paper, calendars, stationery and other related items.

Papier Girl opened in Naperville in 2005 and Vesevick took over as the owner of the business in 2009.

"I live in Glen Ellyn and this is a family decision to be closer to home, so I can manage both my business and family better," Vesevick said in a .

The store serves a large number of brides seeking distinctive invitations that make an impact, she said. Wedding invitations make up a large amount of revenue for the store.

Shoppers will find brands that include Crane, William Arthur, Dauphine Press and Smock.

In downtown Wheaton, a similar shop is , at 124 N. Hale St.
