Nominations Open for Wheaton Chamber Businesses of the Year

Anyone can nominate their business of choice on the Chamber website until Monday.

Nominations for the Wheaton Chamber businesses of the year will be open until Monday, Jan. 30. Anyone can nominate their favorite businesses in the following categories:

Henry C. Childs Community Development & Improvement Award

This award recognizes the development or improvement of real property in Wheaton OR the development of a program benefitting Wheaton residents.

Franklin E. Wheaton Large Business of the Year Award

Presented to a Wheaton Chamber business with 11 or more employees who has made an outstanding contribution to the growth and stability of the Chamber during the past year.

Anton and Lidia Carlson Small Retail Business of the Year Award

Presented to a Wheaton Chamber retail business with 10 or fewer employees who has made an outstanding contribution to the growth and stability of the Chamber during the past twelve months.

The P. Kenneth Gieser Small Service Business of the Year Award

Presented to a Wheaton Chamber service oriented business with 10 or fewer employees who has made an outstanding contribution to the growth and stability of the Chamber during the past twelve months. 

Wheaton Chamber Restaurant of the Year

Presented to a Wheaton Chamber restaurant (food provider) who consistently demonstrates excellence in food preparation with outstanding service, atmosphere, quality and presentation for diners. The restaurant should be in tune with market trends, provide a variety of menu choices and give good value for the dollar. 

Nathaniel Lewis Best Marketing Award

This award will be presented to both the Wheaton Chamber business and Wheaton Chamber marketing company that produce an exceptionally successful marketing campaignthat may include print, digital and experiential marketing.

George Hand Top Young Professional Award

The top Wheaton Chamber Young Professional (age 39 and under) must be active in the Wheaton Chamber, demonstrate leadership skills and involvement in the Community. Nominations for Top Young Professional must also be recommended by their employer or a client.

Edwin Deicke Not for Profit Organization of the Year

This award will be given to two not-for-profit Wheaton Chamber members who exemplify excellence in service to the community:

Large Not-For-Profit Organization

Small Not-For-Profit Organization

Harold Gaede Wheaton Chamber Citizen of the Year Award

This award will be presented to a Wheaton Chamber member who has made an outstanding contribution of service to those in need.
