To celebrate a slew of new store openings, Jet's Pizza is giving away free slices and T-shirts later this month.

On Saturday, Jan. 26, Jet's will give away one free slice of its signature deep dish pizza to each customer between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. That deal is good at Jet's 12 Chicago area stores, including the one that just opened here in Wheaton.

In Wheaton, Jet's is at 936 E. Roosevelt Rd.

“Chicago is an extremely competitive pizza market, but once people get a taste of Jet’s, they’re hooked,” said John Jetts, vice president of marketing. “Our Free Slice Day is a chance to celebrate the openings of our newest stores and introduce our product to people who haven’t tried it yet.”

Jet’s Detroit-style, square deep dish pizza with a crunchy crust is the pizza the Michigan-based chain is best known for. Jet’s prepares its dough frsh daily at each store.

Customers can “flavorize” their crust for free with a choice of eight flavors: butter, poppy seed, Parmesan, garlic, Cajun, Romano, sesame seed and Jet’s Turbo Crust.
