Excedrin Migraine to Return to Wheaton Pharmacy Shelves

Recalled in January, the migraine pills are being shipped to stores this week, says Novartis.

Migraine sufferers, relief is in sight.

Excedrin Migraine is being shipped to stores this week, Novartis announced Monday in an email to customers. Excedrin Migraine has been off the market since a January recall.

The pills should be back on shelves within a few weeks. The Walgreens pharmacy department at 1601 N. Main St. does not know when the product will return.

Excedrine Migraine was one of several products recalled by Novartis in January after an internal investigation and complaints of "broken gelcaps, chipped tablets and inconsistent bottle packaging line clearance practices."

Other recalled products included Bufferin, Gas-X, No-Doz and other Excedrin products.
