Austin BBQ Celebrates One-Year Anniversary in Downtown Wheaton

Austin BBQ, Wheaton’s favorite Texas-style barbecue eatery is thrilled to celebrate its one-year anniversary this January 2012.  Owners Doug and Ellen Pierce report that the first year of business has absolutely flown by and that they’ve enjoyed bringing a little bit of Texas to Wheaton.

The duo is passionate about their barbecue, and patrons have taken note. Austin BBQ is all about an authentic experience and staying true to the taste of the Texas Barbecue Belt, from the Hill Country surrounding Austin. From a Texas-sourced seven-foot-tall, 4,200-pound J&R wood-burning smoker to their favorite Texas recipes, Austin BBQ pays homage to the Lone Star State and has quickly become one of Chicagoland’s favorite barbecue restaurants.

From tri tip and pulled pork to corn bread and hush puppies, Austin BBQ offers a wide range of delicious fare that will leave you licking your fingers and coming back for more. Doug reports that brisket is by far the best seller on the menu, stop in to see why and help Austin BBQ celebrate this wonderful milestone.
