Downtown Wheaton Gets New Chocolate Shop; More New Businesses Opening Soon

Downtown Wheaton has a new chocolate shop. 

Kilwins Chocolate and Ice Cream shop opened this past Saturday at 100 N. Hale Street in a space that used to be occupied by The Genuine Article jewelry shop, which close more than a year ago, according to the Daily Herald. 

Kilwins offers a variety of chocolates, fudge, caramels, toffee and more. Visit the store's website for more information.

Other businesses opening soon in the downtown Wheaton area include a Subway at 105 E. Front Street; Moore's Toys & Gadgets, a new educational toy store, at 107 E. Front St.; and two business, Next Yoga, and Armand's Pizzeria, are expected to open on the ground floor of a five-story building at 120 E. Liberty Drive, according to the Daily Herald.
