The Stork's Cradle, 210 W. Wesley St. in downtown Wheaton is closing after 10 years in business.

Another downtown Wheaton staple will close its storefront this summer after 10 years in business. 

The Stork's Cradle, 210 W. Wesley St. in Wheaton carries everything an expectant parent would need, from strollers, maternity and baby clothes to books, toys, furniture and their signature, personalized chenille doll.

We would like to thank all of our wonderful customers for supporting our business for the last 10 years! We have loved being a small part of your children's lives...and we thank you for being a BIG part of ours!

...In an effort to find balance in our lives we have decided to close the retail portion of our business & focus on our special little doll.

The Stork's Cradle recently had its signature doll manufactured in Chicago, which is available online here.

The Stork's Cradle, owned by mother-daughter duo Julie Reinhardt and Bonnie Rae, will be open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. next week, when all items will be marked down 30 percent.
