How did the business come to be?

I've devoted my entire professional career to help people hear better. I earned her Masters of Art’s in Audiology from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. in 1990. I then completed my clinical fellowship year at Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospital. I then went back to college to obtain my Doctor of Audiology degree (Au.D.) from the School of Audiology of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA in 2004. I previously co-owned four office practice located in Chicago and the Western suburbs before opening The Hearing Doctors in 2007. My current practice is one of the most advanced practices, that employs the latest technologies to provide the most comprehensive hearing care possible. We offer an extensive line of high-tech products and tools for increased speech understanding, easy and effective communication– ultimately striving for patient satisfaction.

Why did you choose the area you did?

I have been a Wheaton resident for over 30 years where she is active in the Wheaton Rotary, Wheaton & Winfield Chambers, DuPage West SR Alliance, Junior Achievement, and District 200 school system. In addition to being an avid scrap booker, I love traveling and photographing her twin girls.

What’s a fact about your business that most customers probably don’t know?

Many people mistakenly skip regular hearing exams after they turn 50. If we treat our hearing like we treat our teeth and eyes, we'd all be healthier and be able to avoid more severe hearing loss down the road.
