Bella Flora Mia Brings Custom Floral Design to Downtown Wheaton

A new floral design business has opened recently at 124 N. Main St.

Life is “bella” in downtown Wheaton as a new business, devoted to flower design and interiors, has moved in along Main Street.

Bella Flora Mia, 124 N. Main St. is a new interior and floral design shop offering furnishings and accessories, according to a news release from the Downtown Wheaton Association.

Owner Mari Sarricola offers customers one-of-a-kind floral arrangements, which are found throughout the shop. Sarricola specializes in custom floral designs for all occasions and, in addition, she offers personalized decorating services for home, business, holiday or special occasions, including weddings, according to the news release.

Along with using items found in nature, Sarricola often incorporates a customer’s cherished objects or personal interests within a design, according to the release.

“I have always said you are as creative as your imagination will allow,” Sarricola said in the news release.  “For centuries, flowers have been making people happy. They have been used to decorate your home, help celebrate holidays, bring a smile to someone who is sick and help with honoring the passing of a loved one.  Flowers can make a wedding day all the more memorable, celebrate a birthday and welcome a new life into world. … Flowers have become my passion and I would love to share my talent with the Wheaton community.”
