Wheaton's French Market to Open April 19 for Summer Season

The following information comes from the city of Wheaton and the Downtown Wheaton Association.

Downtown Wheaton will take on a bit of a French flavor when a popular attraction returns April 19. That’s the date of this year’s first French Market, which is a popular outdoor marketplace modeled after the markets in France.

More than a typical farmers market, the Wheaton French Market offers a wide variety of vendors. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Saturday through Nov. 8, 2014, the French Market will be located near the intersection of Main Street and Liberty Drive.

Vendors sell fresh produce, locally made gifts, art, specialty foods, handmade jewelry, flowers and more. Items sold change seasonally, offering visitors variety from week to week.
