Taste of Wheaton Could Get Additional Day of Activities, Beer Garden

The beer garden at the Taste of Wheaton could be open an extra day this year, according to media reports.

Typically, the Taste of Wheaton offers a carnival on its fourth and final day but organizers for the event said families have been wanting food, entertainment and additional offerings on that day as well, according to the article.

The Wheaton City Council on Monday recommended staff draft an ordinance that would add a day to the festival's special event liquor license since under the current license, the Taste of Wheaton is only able to sell wine and beer for three days, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The Taste of Wheaton will run June 5 through June 8 this year in downtown Wheaton, according to the event's website

Wow another day of controlling the drunks. Perhaps the railroad gates should stay down the whole time to limit the carnage ?
