Pulitzer-Prize Winning Journalist David Finkel to Speak at Cantigny

Finkel is the author of "Thank You for Your Service," a book about how American soldiers and their families, friends and caregivers cope with life after war.

David Finkel, a Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist and author of "Thank You for Your Service," will speak at Cantigny Park Wednesday, April 30.

In "Thank You for Your Service," published in 2013, Finkel looks at how American soldiers and their families, friends and caregivers cope with life after war. He is a staff writer for The Washington Post and won the Pulitzer for a series about U.S.-funded efforts to build democracy in Yemen.

Finkel speaks at 7:30 p.m. in the Cantigny Visitors Center Theater as part of the First Division Museum's "A Date with History" series. 

Admission and parking are free; Finkel will also sign copies of his book, available for purchase in the Cantigny Shop.
