Holiday Luncheon for Glen Ellyn Wheaton Community Associates Focuses on the Spirit of the Holidays in Art

    Wednesday, December 7, at the Abbington Banquets, 3S002 Route 53 in Glen Ellyn, the Glen Ellyn Wheaton Community Associates of the Art Institute invite members and guests to their Holiday Luncheon.  Doors Open at 11:15 A.M., luncheon is served at 12:00 P.M. and the program begins at 1:00 P.M.  Cost of the luncheon for members is $35 and cost for guests is $50.  Member reservations for the luncheon should be mailed to Associate member Pat Cekal and luncheon guests should contact Pat Cekal at 630-534-6418 to get information about coming to the event. 
    The organization is organized with a specific reservation  time and that is November 7 through 21, 2011.  During this time, member reservations must be sent in with meal choices.  Guests need to find out this information if they are interested in becoming part of this group.  There are over 375 members that include 33 DuPage County cities and towns. 
    Annie Morse, senior lecturer from the Chicago Art Institute is the speaker for the afternoon.  She will take a fun and informative look at the spirit of the holidays as seen in works of art from the Art Institute’s permanent collection.
