Grazing Fest is Friday at Cosley Zoo

Celebrate autumn at Cosley Zoo’s Grazing Fest on Friday, October 21 from 5:30-9:00pm. is located at 1356 N. Gary Avenue in Wheaton. Cost of the event is $50 per person, and all attendees must be 21 years or older to attend. Cost of your tickets will include cocktails, entertainment and cuisine provided by Arrowhead Restaurant and Bar. Highlights of the event will include a silent auction, raffle and visits from some of the zoo residents. Also, the Animal of the Year will be chosen from the summer-long fundraiser Day at the Races.

Registration is required by October 14 and may be made by calling 630-665-5534. All proceeds will benefit The Cosley Foundation. 

Since 1986, The Cosley Foundation, Inc. has worked diligently to raise funds for the capital improvement of the zoo.  To date, they have provided funds for the construction of the Vern Kiebler Learning Center, the duck pond, parking lot expansion and of course, the pigs and poultry exhibit.  In the near future the foundation looks forward to adding a new Bobcat exhibit and Animal Care and Conservation Center. Other Cosley Foundation yearly fundraising events include: The 5K/10K Run for the Animals, The Mike Williams Cosley Classic Golf Outing, Pumpkin Fest and Festival of Lights & Christmas Tree Sale. Financial contributions may be made to The Cosley Foundation and sent to: The Cosley Foundation, Cosley Zoo, 1356 N.
