Girl Scouts Our Promise: Then, Now and Forever

In partnership with the Girl Scouts of the USA, the DuPage County Historical Museum is excited to present this exhibit in celebration of the organization’s 100th Anniversary. On Saturday November 5, 2011 from 12pm to 4pm, join us to celebrate the opening of the Museum’s newest exhibit.  Enjoy refreshments and learn about the history of the Girl Scouts.  Meet staff and representatives from the Girl Scouts of the USA.  Share your special memories as we celebrate this wonderful organization!

Founded in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low, the Girl Scouts of the USA continues to inspire millions of young girls. This exhibit will highlight the past 100 years using uniforms, photos and artifacts from the Girl Scouts’ collection. Come see this important part of history and share your own memories of this wonderful organization! Guided Tours and scout programs are available. For more information, please contact the museum at 630-665-4710.
